Q: Does Home Resource Solutions Inc. provide free estimates?

A: Yes, We provide free no hassle quotes to all our clients.However, if any details design plans are needed. It will be a charge per scope of project.

Q: Do you require money up front?

A: Yes, we require anywere from 10% to 50% up front depending on size of project and 50% paid out in a draw schedule throughout the job completeion. The larger the project, the less money is needed up front.

Q: What if my roof is over ten years old, can I repair it?

A: Generally yes, but it is unwise to repair a roof that is older then ten years old. Most respectable roofing companies that offer solid warranties will not issue a proposal to repair but every situation is different. The act of repairing an old roof can exacerbate the roofing leak and lead to more problems.

Q: Do your company carry valid insurance on all your workers?

A: Yes, not having insurance is a big deal. Without insurance you are responsible for the medical care of the workers if an accident arises and for any damage to your property. We carry over one million dollars in insurance coverage.

Q: Do you provide a warranty on your repair and new construction projects?

A: Yes, we offer you a one year warranty on all repair work and a two to ten year warranty on all new building projects depending on the scope of the project.

Q: Is Home Resource Solutions Inc. a local based company?

A: Yes, We are a local company. It is really important that you deal with a local company in case of a future proublems you can get hold of the company you hired and with all the storm chasing companies that pop in and out of town every time it's a storm. You as the owner must know you may never see them again after your job is completed if they even finish your job.

Q: What happen if it starts to rain unexpectedly why you are working on your roofing project?

A: Our project manager will always have laptops on your job site tracking the weather forcast, but if it happens. We always carry enough tarps to cover up the roof so you never get any interior water damage to your ceilings.

Q: Will Home Resource Solutions Inc. ever add a second layer of shingles to my house without removing the old ones first.

A: No, we never roof over old shingles. Sometime people try to save money by not removing the old layer first. By not removing the layer you never know if you have any plywood damage. Also two layers will add additional weight to your house foundation and cause trapped moisture in your shingles. In the future it will cost more to remove when the inevitable roofing project arises.

Q: How do I know if its time to have my roof replaced?

A: If your roof is more then fifteen years old. It is always recommended to have it inspected by a professional. Most people wait until they find water stains on their drywall. By that time you have decking damage that will cost you more in the long run.

Q: How long does it take to complete a building project?

A: It depends on how large the house is and your needed request.

Q: How long do I have to clam hail/storm or fire damage to my insurance company?

A: It depends on your insurance company. We recommend you do it right away so you dont allow time to cause more damage that you may have to pay out of your own pocket because you waited to long to let your insurance adjuster know of the problem.

Q: Why your web site doesn't give long details on your materials and process?

A: Good question, because we rather talk to you face to face and show you in person what you are getting. After all this is an investment for you and we want you to understand what you are getting and know how it can impact your home. We just elimate the errors so in the end you know you recieved what you paid for.
